Why two formats?
GOTS covers many areas and involves different company functions. One day provides a structured understanding, but not the same depth or level of practical application. Loometic therefore clearly distinguishes the learning objectives of both formats so that each company can choose the duration that genuinely matches the level of capability sought.
Understand GOTS to apply it more effectively
GOTS v8 connects organic materials, the certified chain, environmental and social criteria, due diligence, governance, claims and labelling. The training places these requirements within the company’s practical decisions.
A standard structures a response and a chain of evidence; it does not replace sustainability strategy, regulatory vigilance or internal management.

It may also be suitable for teams seeking a shared understanding of GOTS to better coordinate their responsibilities within the certification system.

The training combines structured input, textile-sector examples, discussions with participants and practical exercises. GOTS requirements are consistently placed in context: product, activity, function concerned, risk, expected action and associated evidence.

Apply
Mapping, classification and prioritisation to learn how to navigate GOTS, analyse a situation and identify topics requiring action or further investigation.
One-day trajectory. It prioritises a complete, structured understanding of GOTS, with short exercises to check understanding and connect requirements with company situations.
Two-day trajectory. It gives more time to exercises, analysis of situations, cross-functional discussion and practical application of requirements in order to deepen their translation within the organisation.
For in-company training, examples and exercises can be contextualised according to the organisation’s activities, products and challenges. Any significant adaptation of the programme or creation of specific content is subject to an additional quotation.
Assess learning outcomes and support progress
Before the training
An initial questionnaire identifies participants’ starting level of knowledge, their experience of GOTS and their main needs.
During the training
Understanding is checked progressively through discussions, questions, exercises and practical applications during the training.
At the end
A learning-outcomes assessment verifies achievement of the teaching objectives. It is complemented by a satisfaction survey. Each participant receives a certificate of completion.

Accessibility. For in-company training, the host company is responsible for the venue’s physical accessibility. If a participant requires specific arrangements, please inform us in advance so that we can consider suitable teaching adaptations together. For sessions organised directly by Loometic, accessibility is taken into account when selecting the venue and organising the training.
Open-enrolment sessions. Sessions may be offered in Paris or remotely. Upcoming dates, registration details and fees per participant will be announced when registration opens.
Choose the level of depth suited to your organisation
One day to gain a structured understanding of GOTS. Two days are recommended when the objective is to go further in analysing and applying the requirements operationally.
