Expertise — Strategy & sustainable trajectories

Sustainability requires choices. The challenge is knowing which ones make sense for your company.

Fashion and textile companies must navigate growing regulatory requirements, multiple standards, environmental and social expectations, new data to manage and complex value chains.

But addressing each of these constraints separately does not necessarily build a sustainable strategy.

Loometic was created to help organisations understand this environment, inform their choices and build a trajectory consistent with their identity, ambitions, responsibilities and capacity to act.

Why Loometic?

Connect what is too often addressed separately.

A regulation can change a product. A standard can transform traceability requirements. A material choice can shift impacts. A sourcing decision can create new responsibilities.

Strategy begins when these topics are no longer treated as a succession of separate matters and become different dimensions of the same decision.

The aim is not to accumulate answers, but to build coherence between choices.

Converging areas of expertise

Understand several dimensions to inform one trajectory.

STRATEGYBuild a sustainable trajectory
A trajectory, not a succession of actions

Give direction to decisions over time.

A sustainable trajectory is a structured course connecting ambition, decisions, evidence and capabilities, enabling an organisation to progress in a coherent, credible, rigorous and manageable way.

It provides a common framework for decisions without claiming to fix the future.

Build the trajectory

Five questions for turning ambition into the capacity to act.

01 — AMBITION

Where do we want to go?

Clarify the ambition, identity, values, positioning and intended level of commitment.

02 — REALITY

Where are we really starting from?

Understand products, the organisation, capabilities, data, the supply chain, practices, constraints and dependencies.

03 — TRADE-OFFS

What choices must we make?

Define priorities, compromises, investments and the level of rigour the organisation is prepared to uphold.

04 — IMPLEMENTATION

How can these choices be made possible?

Organise responsibilities, stages, resources, capabilities, management tools and evidence.

05 — EVOLUTION

How can we retain the capacity to evolve?

Learn from results and adjust the trajectory as knowledge, standards, regulation, technologies or the market evolve.

Make informed, committed choices

A committed choice is not necessarily the easiest one.

It may require a difficult trade-off, an investment, a compromise or a decision that goes against the prevailing trend.

It becomes a committed choice when it is sufficiently understood, consistent with the organisation’s identity and ambitions, and the organisation is prepared to accept its consequences.

No universal trajectory

Two companies facing the same environment may make different choices.

They do not necessarily have the same history, products, value chains, capabilities, resources or ambitions.

The role of advisory is therefore not to apply a ready-made sustainability strategy, but to help the organisation build one that makes sense for it — and understand the consequences of its choices.

A manageable trajectory

An ambition becomes credible when it can be connected to decisions, capabilities and evidence.

The Loometic approach

Inform decisions without making them on behalf of the company.

Loometic brings knowledge, methods, analytical capability and a cross-cutting perspective to make options and their consequences clearer.

The decision remains the organisation’s. Our role is to help it make sufficiently informed choices so they can become coherent, lasting commitments.

A trajectory cannot be decreed. It is built, managed, learned from and adjusted.
